We are extremely proud to announce that we have been awarded Approved Contractor Status by the Arboricultural Association (AA)🌳
What does this mean?
An ARB Approved Contractor (ArbAC) is a business that has been thoroughly assessed by the AA, has met and continues to uphold the AA's Standards.
These standards are designed to assure clients, be they private, corporate or utility that the Approved Contractor applies the highest standards of workmanship reflecting contemporary arboricultural research findings, legislative and health and safety requirements, business practices, customer expectations aswell as the appropriate insurance requirements.
This award represents the Gold Standard in the tree care industry and is itself ISO 9001 (UKAS) accredited. ARB Approved Contractor is the ONLY comprehensive accreditation scheme for professional tree surgery businesses in the United Kingdom and British Isles
The assessment process was intense, carried out by the AA assessor over two days. Every part of our business has been scrutinised, from our office and customer systems, Health & Safety, Method Statement, Biosecurity, Wildlife and Environmental policies, our formal and practical qualifications, experience and knowledge, right the way through to our machinery, equipment, yard and work site operations.
Examples of our work conforming to BS3998 were assessed and our staff training and career development programmes examined.
We are now the only tree surgery company in the Channel Islands to achieve this prestigious seal of approval.
Very, very well done indeed to all the Team! ... See MoreSee Less

Removal of a very large, dead Oak stem earlier this week. This job was perfect for our Unimog Work Platform. We were assisted by the awesome Lorry Mounted Knuckle Boom Crane provided by our friends at Fetch & Karrie Ltd.
Traffic management carried out by our trained and qualified staff on the busy road and junction.
Another job well done!

It's hardly tree surgery. The poor thing is dead.
Beats a grub axe, that's for sure 👍👍👍
You will never be stumped again!! Well done
Poor trees 🙁
Yes it does its job. But how do I get that machine up 15 floors and in my window box ??
Do you not need to dig the soil away from around the the stump? I would have thought that hitting some soil with the blades would quickly take the edge off them? The soil blunts my chainsaw pretty damn quick when I've tried it on small stumps!
Another one bites the dust 🙄
That is very much the business!!
It’s got tracks,SEXY.😘
have a lot of strength is good machine.
That is one cool piece of kit 😊
Why was this covered?
Why is a good question
I want one

Removal of an over mature conifer hedge and replanting of a new Laurel Hedge in its place last week. We removed the old hedging, removed the stumps, conditioned the soil, supplied and planted new Laurel hedging, lightly pruned the new hedge and then installed a leaky pipe to provide constant moisture to the new plants.
As Arboricultural Contractors we provide the full service, from tree/shrub removal to tree/shrub supply and planting & ongoing maintenance.

One of our commercial clients required this unruly Alder tree pruning. Our first task was to raise the lower branches. This was done to improve the view of the forecourt from the road to passing potential customers. We then reduced and balanced the remaining crown to formalise and contain.
